I worked in Children's publishing for a decade, then in computer animation for another two, both in London, where drawing was a daily requirement against crazy deadlines. That's one way to get the practice in. Having now returned to Newcastle, the time to explore more personal subjects and inspiration has dawned. I work mainly in pencil and oils.
