I took up oil painting after a few introductory lessons run by Newcastle University continuing education programme. I joined a local art society and found this greatly encouraging. A few years ago I was invited to join the North of England Art Club. 

 

I like to paint a wide variety of subjects working with oils, acrylics and pastels.
