I started painting when we moved to Newcastle in 2008. I have begun to find my own style in emphasis of geometries and patterns of light in natural and man-made structures. Painting has become more than just an absorbing hobby to me, I am constantly experimenting with colour, composition and abstraction. Living in Northumberland has given me an ever-changing source of inspiration in the wild landscapes, castles, coast, harbours and industrial riversides. My work is exhibited at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle, and at The Old School Gallery in Alnmouth, and with ScotlandArt.com online and in their Glasgow Gallery. I have a studio at BBox Studios, Stoddart St. Newcastle. To see more go to www.jaarti.co.uk
